Šiauliai Long-Term Care and Geriatrics Centre is a specialised healthcare facility dedicated to long-term treatment, nursing, and elderly care. Buildings of this type require exceptionally high standards of hygiene, reliability, and indoor comfort, making ventilation a critical part of the project.

For this facility, three AmberAir modular air handling units with separated airflow heat exchangers were installed, meeting the highest hygiene requirements and certified with Eurovent Hygienic approval.

The solution ensures a stable and comfortable indoor climate across a wide range of spaces, including patient rooms, kitchens, sports and activity areas, conference rooms, and treatment facilities.

The main challenge of the project was integrating the equipment into limited technical spaces. Thanks to the modular design of the AmberAir units and close cooperation between SALDA, the project partners, and the client, flexible solutions were implemented without compromising performance or reliability — all covered by SALDA’s standard warranty.
